Attention spans have shrunk dramatically, with less than 5% of readers getting to the bottom of an article
The vast majority of employees spend less than 15 minutes per day reading internal communications
As the world gets more complex, communications need to get clearer and more concise.
Communicating effectively in an information rich, attention poor world
Wordsmith
So how do we get people’s attention in this cluttered, distracted world?
Introducing the Wordsmith course
The course shows IC practitioners how to write more simply and effectively. A sharper writing style that eliminates all but the most essential information. Delivered in an engaging, informed and conversational way.
It uses established storytelling formats to get to the point quickly, telling the reader what they need to know and why it matters
It is a practical, universal approach that can be applied to e-mails, leadership notes, articles and newsletters. In fact, to all communications
Mastering these simple principles and practices will improve engagement levels for your communications
Explore further
The course is three 90-minute group workshops, run virtually over the course of a day.
It will introduce IC practitioners to the key principles of writing concisely and effectively, as well as how to use AI to enhance their communications.
At the end of these sessions, practitioners will have new practices and will leave with a simple toolkit to bring into their daily work.
